The objective of Landsbanki Ísland hf.‘s moratorium and winding-up proceedings is to dispose the bank’s interests in the most cost-effective manner. This work results in increased monetary assets that creditors will receive in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Financial Undertakings No. 161/2002 and provisions referred to in Act on Bankruptcy etc No. 21/1991.
